Mr. Johnny Bernard Palmer of 109 North Bass Street, Cordele, Georgia died Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
A beloved father, son, and brother was welcomed to this world on February 17, 1964. Johnny Bernard Palmer was born in Crisp County, Georgia to Deacon James Palmer and Mother Cora Lee Sanders Palmer.
Johnny attended the public schools of Crisp County and as a child, he attended the Cordele Church of God In Christ. A lover of music, Johnny enjoyed listening to all genres. One of his greatest joys was entertaining the neighborhood by playing music. In addition to his love for music, he also loved dancing. His love for people gave him a strong desire always to help others.
On Saturday, June 29, 2024, Johnny peacefully transitioned from this life to life eternal. His mother, Mother Cora Lee Palmer, and his siblings, Ms. Virginia Palmer, Mr. Sylvester Palmer, and Mr. Eddie Palmer, each precede him in death.
Many special memories will be remembered by his loving and devoted family, his father, Deacon James (Ozzie) Palmer of Cordele, Georgia; his daughter, Miss Jernessa A. Palmer of Cordele, Georgia; his sisters, Mrs. Mary E . Palmer (Raymond) Coleman and Ms. Brenda L. Palmer both of Cordele, Georgia; his brothers, Mr. Edward (Mary) Palmer of Vienna, Georgia and Mr. Willie J. (Kathy) Palmer of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Mrs. Mattie Mason, Mr. Jeff Mason, Mr. Eddie Sanders, Mr. Clarence Sanders, and Mrs. Jessie Sanders all of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Ronald Harris and Mrs. Mary Ann Harris of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mrs. Frances Thigpen and Mr. E. J. Thigpen of Parkland, Florida, Mr. Johnny Shorter and Mrs. Earlene Shorter of Arabi, Georgia, and Mr. Willie Frank Sanders; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, to include, Mr. Raynard Mason of Atlanta, Georgia'; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
