Mr. Johnny Lee Brown of 1015 Seven Springs Drive, Cordele, Georgia, died Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Warwick, Georgia.
Johnny Lee Brown, born on June 8, 1962, in Worth County, Georgia, was a beloved member of his community and family. The son of Robert Lee Brown and Irma Jean Johnson, Johnny was raised and educated in the Worth County and Crisp County School systems. A devout member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Warwick, Georgia, he lived a life filled with love, dedication, and compassion.
Johnny worked as a heavy equipment operator and had a passion for farming, especially when it came to driving tractors. He also enjoyed detailing cars and spending quality time with his family. Known for his love of eating and his warm, friendly demeanor, Johnny was cherished by all who knew him as an overall great fellow.
Johnny Lee Brown passed away on June 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Brown and Irma Jean Johnson, and his brother, Robert Lee Brown, Jr.
Johnny's warm heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a loving family who will treasure his memory, his wife, Eddie Jean Brown of Cordele, Georgia; his children, Robert Gregory Brown of Warwick, Georgia, Kendrial Pruitt (Greg) of Unadilla, Georgia and Kimberly Brown of Cordele, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jacquez Brown of Cordele, Georgia, Nikerria Brown of Warwick, Georgia, Nikell Brown of Warwick, Georgia, Raleigh Brown of Warwick, Georgia, Aderious Singleton of Cordele, Georgia, Gregory Pruitt, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia, Kalia Pruitt of Unadilla, Georgia, Ladrevion Brown of Cordele, Georgia, and Nah'Viah Johnson of Cordele, Georgia; his great grandchildren; his sister, Aline Mitchell of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Brenda Mainor (Bennie) of Albany, Georgia, Bobbie Smith of Cordele, Georgia, Dorothy Smith of Orlando, Florida, and Eddie J. Porter of Orlando, Florida; five nieces; six nephews; his sister-in-law, Sarah White of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Reverend Nelson Mainor of Cordele, Georgia, Earnest Lee Mainor of Albany, Georgia, Bennie Mainor of Albany, Georgia; a host of cousins; other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
