On September 17, 1958, Jimmy Louis Anderson was born to the parentage of the late Joe Louis Anderson, Sr. and Ruby Nell Burns Anderson of Pineview, Georgia.  Jimmy attended the  Wilcox County Public School system. He joined the Spring Hill Baptist Church in Tippetville, Georgia at an early age.

Jimmy was a joy to everyone who knew him.  He loved to dance and clown around with everyone. Jimmy had a fun thing he liked to do.  He would walk up to you and get right in your face and point at you and ask "What's your name?"  He would ask this question even though he knew you already, it was just a way of making you laugh.  Jimmy was most definitely the life of the party everywhere he went.  He really loved being around his family; they meant everything to him.  He was just a joy to be around, and he will truly be missed.

Jimmy was employed with the Crisp County School System for many years.  He was affectionately called "Grandpa Mr. Jimmy" by the students. He was adored by the whole staff, teaches, and students right up to his untimely journey to be with the Lord.

On June 30, 2023 the earthly journey of Jimmy Louis Anderson ended when he transitioned to his heavenly home.  He will be missed by many and forever loved by many more.  In addition to his father, Mr. Joe Louis Anderson, Sr., he is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew "Peanut" Anderson.

Left in the comfort of his memories are his loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Ruby Nell Anderson of Hawkinsville, Georgia; three children, Mrs. Vera (Boris) Gibson of Rochelle, Georgia,  Lana Ivory and Dana Ivory both of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Adrian Dantley, Aliyah Gibson, Kaiden Gibson, and Boris Gibson, Jr. all of Rochelle, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Ailer of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Mrs. Elizabeth Martin of Rochelle, Georgia; two brothers, Mr. Joe Louis (Justine) Anderson, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia and Mr. John (Tonya) Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia; six aunts, Mrs. Sammie Lee Dykes of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Ella Mae Pinkney of West Palm Beach, Florida, Mrs. Willie Bell Lawson of Pitts, Georgia, Mrs. Sylvia Bembry of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mrs. Shirley Coley of Rochelle, Georgia, and Mrs. Otha D.
