Mr. Jerome Wiggins better known as "Moon" of 1330 Forsyth Street, Macon, Georgia died Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Jeffersonville Care Center in Jeffersonville, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Mr. Jerome Wiggins was born June 18, 1951, in Ellaville, Georgia.  The son of the late Mr. Robert Wiggins and the late Mrs. Mary Bell Ramsey Smith, he was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Moon."

He peacefully transitioned from this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Jeffersonville Care Center in Jeffersonville, Georgia.

Many fond memories will live on in the hearts of his loving family:  his children, Miss Pamela E. Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Ricardo C. Wiggins of Vienna, Georgia, Mr. Demetrius Ashley of Cordele, Georgia, and Ms. Felicia L. Wiggins of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren; his sisters, Mrs. Charlene (Willie) Shorter, Mrs. Arlene Jimmerson, and Ms. Brenda Sampson all of Cordele, Georgia; his brothers, Mr. Robert Lee Sampson of Jersey City, New Jersey, Mr. James (Debbie) Sampson of Riverdale, Georgia, Mr. Ronnie Sampson of Albany, New York, Mr. Curtis (Debra) Sampson of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. John Sampson of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mr. Alex Sampson of Boston, Massachusetts; his uncle, Mr. Clifford (Linda) Ramsey of Cordele, Georgia; a host of nieces,   nephews, many cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
