Mr. Jahlin A'darius Kyree Sims of 209 Bayhill Drive, Americus, Georgia died Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Whole Truth International Ministries in Americus, Georgia.  The burial will follow at Staley Memorial Garden in Americus, Georgia.

On Friday, March 2, 2001, a bouncing baby boy was welcomed to this world.  Jahlin A'darius Kyree Sims was born to Tracy Sims and Melvin Burns in Americus, Sumter County, Georgia.

Jahlin was enrolled in the public schools of Sumter County.  As a student he met the challenges of each academic year and proudly graduated with the Class of 2019 from Americus-Sumter High School.

A believer in Jesus Christ, Jahlin accepted him as her Lord and Savior.  He was a member of the Americus Pentecostal Church.

Jahlin loved taking care of his mother, sisters, and nephew.  A joyful and genuine person, he also loved to work with his grandfather.  Regarded as a rising star in the music industry, Jahlin was a fun person who enjoyed joking with others.  He was the type of person you couldn't stay mad with.  He was "Mr. RSL" also known as "Huncho."

On  Monday, October 23, 2023, Jahlin departed this life at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.   He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lizzie Crumbley  and cherished family members who were raised like siblings, Quinton Roker and Quin'taria Roker.

Memories of his life will be cherished by his loving and devoted family:  his mother, Tracy Sims of Americus, Georgia; his father, Melvin Burns of Americus, Georgia; his sisters, Chelsey Sims, Takayli Sims and Aubrea Sims of  Americus, Georgia and Tierra Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; his brothers, Courtney Burns of Atlanta, Georgia, Brandon Harris of Warner Robins, Georgia, Montrellus Burns of Americus, Georgia and Walter Hawkins of Leslie, Georgia; his grandparents, Dorothy Bridges and Walter Bridges of    Americus, Georgia, Jerry Sims and Billy Monts of Plains, Georgia; his nephew, Messiah Smothers; his niece, Azzariah Harris; his aunts and uncles, Jerry Sims, Jr., Melvin Sims, Melissa Weems, Frank Weems and Norwana (James Jr.) Miles of Americus, Georgia, and Jerome Sims of Atlanta, Georgia, Keith Monts, Wayne Monts, Leodis Monts, Kelly Monts, and Tiny Monts of Plains, Georgia his cousins, Lakita Sims, Christopher Sims, Jasmine Sims, Akeila Sims, Latoya Cooper, Keneshia Crum, Shamekia Sims, Elexis Sims, Quniece Sims, Shamel Sims, Jocelyn Sims, Easteria Brown, Nakenya Weems, Keyonni Weems, Deona Clark, Cedric Clark, and Ja'Rule Whitehead all of Americus, Georgia, Aniah Roker and Tre'von Greenwood of West Palm Beach, Florida, Albert Crumbley, The Monts Family and The Crumbley Family of Plains, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
