Obituary

Infant Kaiser Amir Lewis-Mathis of 13930 GA Hwy 90, Montezuma, Georgia, died Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your mask.

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our baby boy, Master Kaiser A'mir Lewis-Mathis. Kaiser spent a short time with us, but he was deeply loved and will forever be missed.  Kaiser brought love to our lives.

Kaiser is preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Lewis, Sr.; his great-grandparents, Jasper & Louise Lewis, and Coley & Bridgie Clark.

Kaiser is lovingly remembered by his parents, Kiyasha Lewis of Montezuma, Georgia and Maurice Mathis of Oglethorpe, Georgia; his siblings, Mauriyuna Mathis, Mariyah Mathis, and Sky'Sky Mathis all of Montezuma, Georgia, Maurisha Mathis, Maurnesha Mathis, and Maurice Mathis, III all of Perry, Georgia, Maurice Mathis, Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia; his grandparents, Vera Lewis of Montezuma, Georgia and Sammy (Linda) Mathis of Oglethorpe, Georgia; his great grandparents, Dorothy (Abraham) Clark of Byromville, Georgia; his aunts/uncles, Kenyauna Clark and Tyvonna Clark both of Montezuma,   Georgia, Kentavious Clark and Kenneth Lewis, Jr. of Byromville, Georgia, Terrance Mathis and Joshua Mathis both of Oglethorpe, Georgia, DeMarquis Clark of North Carolina, DeKendral Lewis of Atlanta, Georgia, Latravis Hardrick of Perry, Georgia, and Kurtis Thomas, Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia; his godfather, Jary Smith of Montezuma, Georgia; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives.
