Mrs. Helen Thomas Kendrick of 409 West Pine Street, Vienna, Georgia died Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the Bryant Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cochran, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Evangelistic Tabernacle Family Outreach Center in Vienna, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.

Mrs. Helen Thomas Kendrick was born November 22, 1946 in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  She was born to the late Mr. Henry Thomas and the late Mrs. Johnnie Mae Thomas.

Helen was educated in the public school system where she completed the ninth grade.  In September, 1965, she was united marriage to Mr. Roosevelt Kendrick.  They shared their lives together along with their two children until his passing.

Her main career was working at the sewing factories.  In her later life she enjoyed going to church and building relationships with her fellow church members.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling and completing crossword puzzles.

Helen is the last surviving offspring of Henry and Johnnie Thomas.  Her life may not have been filled with adventure, but it was filled with love from her family.

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Mr. Randy (Lillie) Kendrick of Atlanta, Georgia and Ms. Brenda Jean Kendrick of Warner Robins, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Martha Warren and Mrs. Mary Burroughs; her nieces and nephews, Ms. Beverly Bagley, Mr. Donald  Warren, Mr. Charles Burroughs, Mr. Michael Burroughs, Mr. William Burroughs, Ms. Dorothy Daniels, Ms. Gloria Wiggins, Ms. Cheryl Kendrick, Ms. Nita Kendrick, Ms. Clara Kendrick, Ms. Tomeka Kendrick, Ms. Tonya Kendrick, Mr. Bryce Daniels, Ms. Dorothy Daniels, Mr. Lenn Thomas, Mr. Mack Daniels, Mr. Deon Daniels, Mr. Lonnie Adkins, Mr. Danny Adkins, Demier, Margaret, Joyce, and Shenice; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
