Mr. Gregory Bernard Riggins of 400 South 7th Street, Vienna, Georgia died Monday, July 15, 2024 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Cordele, Georgia.
Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. A mask must be worn throughout the stay. You must supply your own mask.
Mr. Gregory Bernard Riggins was born March 22, 1965 in Vienna, Dooly County, Georgia. He was born to the late Mr. Roosevelt Kendrick and the late Ms. Carlean Riggins.
As a child he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and worshiped at the Lebanon Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia. He received his education from the public schools of Dooly County.
A natural homebody, Gregory was an excellent cook, who enjoyed making people laugh. He also loved to watch sports on television. He especially enjoyed watching "his" Broncos play. He was a win, lose or draw fan.
On Monday, July 15, 2024, our beloved peacefully transitioned from this life. He will forever live in our hearts. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Abe Riggins and Mrs. Mendora Riggins.
He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Ms. Sharhonda Burnam of Perry, Georgia; two loving grandchildren, Ms. Sherniq Burnam of Colorado and Mr. Jarvis McNair, Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia; his loving sisters, Ms. Felicia Riggins of Byromville, Georgia and Ms. Brenda Kendrick of Warner Robins, Georgia; a beloved brother, Mr. Randy Kendrick (Lily) of Atlanta, Georgia; a beloved aunt, Mrs. Rosie Lee Riggins of Vienna, Georgia; two nieces, Ms. Reshayonna Riggins of Byromville, Georgia and Ms. Lashayonna Riggins of Byromville, Georgia; a host of cousins, to include Mrs. Geraldine Daniels, Ms. Diane Mathis, and Ms. Laura Austin all of Vienna, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include a special friend, Mr. Steve Carter of Vienna, Georgia and his best friend, Ms. Mary Felton of Albany, Georgia
