Mr. Gregory Bernard Brown, Sr. of 718 Beale Street, Americus, Georgia died Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his residence.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Eastview Cemetery Pavilion in Americus, Georgia.
Gregory Bernard Brown, Sr. was born September 9, 1977 in Sumter County, Georgia. He was the son of Johnny Williams and Shearline Fields.
Gregory received his education from the public schools of Sumter County.
He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed many wonderful moments with his family and friends.
In addition to his love for his family, he was a loyal member of Al Rakim #142, Oasis of Albany, Desert of Georgia, and St. Bartholomew Lodge #177. He truly believed in living up to the standards represented by the Masons.
On Wednesday, March 6, 2024 he transitioned from this life. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Shearline Fields.
His life and memories of his life will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Angela Carter Brown of Americus, Georgia; his loving and devoted children, Jabria Wallace (Johnathan), Gregory Brown, Jr., and Aliaziah Thompson of Americus, Georgia, Ciara Richardson (Jermaine) of Sandersville, Georgia, Albert Carter of Atlanta, Georgia, Brittany Battle and Lacosha Battle of Americus, Georgia; 10 grandchildren; his beloved father, Johnny Williams; his loving sisters, Yolanda Jenkins and Alicia Davis of Americus, Georgia; his beloved brother, Bradley Brown (Selitta) of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Yvette Brown of Americus, Georgia, Beverly Brown (Eddie) of DeSoto, Georgia, Vivian Colbert and Deborah Milledge of Americus, Georgia, Terry Brown (Sondra) of Concord, North Carolina, and Tony Brown of Cobb, Georgia; eight nieces and four nephews; many cousins, to include a devoted cousin, Calvin Milledge of Americus, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include, James Harper, Donell Kitchens, Raymond Stewart, Curtis Mathis, and Joe Reddick of Americus, Georgia.
