Mrs. Gloria Ann Gaint, affectionately known as "Ann," was born on August 19, 1961, in Sylvester, Georgia, to the late Robert Curry, Sr and the late Susie Mae Curry. Ann departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by many family members and friends.

"Ann" was a loving wife, mother,  grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Oakfield, Georgia. She also served as the First Lady of Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Edison, Georgia. In her spare time, she enjoyed family, cooking, laughter, and piecing together many decorative arrangements.

"Ann" was the heart of her family- her love was most often expressed through the meals she prepared. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, filled with the aromas of a home-cooked dish, and the sound of her laughter. She had a gift for finding joy in life's simple moments. Whether she was singing her favorite songs, sharing stories that left everyone smiling, or sitting quietly with her knitting, creating something beautiful stitch by stitch, she embraced each day with grace and gratitude. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit uplifting, and her love unwavering. As a wife, she was a steadfast partner and best friend. As a mother, she offered guidance, patience, and unconditional love. As a grandmother, she was a source of endless affection, wisdom, and cherished memories. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in each of them.

"Ann" was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donell Curry, Alonzo Curry, Edward Charles Curry, Robert Curry, Jr.; sister Forestine Curry, and best friend, Sandra Newberry.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of many years, Pastor Eddie Lee Gaint of Albany, Georgia; two sons, Timothy Gaint (Yshaka) of Sylvester, Georgia and Kenneth Gaint of Albany, Georgia; two daughters, Kemyra Gaint and Kenesha Gaint both of Albany, Georgia; nine grandchildren; Timothy Gaint, Tia Harris, Kidarias Gaint, Jada Anderson (Marcus), Paris Everson, Ariyah, Janiya Gaint, Kennedi Gaint; five great grandchildren; five brothers, Jerome Curry (Kimberly), Ricky Curry, Michael Curry, Wayne Curry (Michelle), and Nathaniel Curry (Audrey); three sisters, Dorothy Byrd (Bonnie), Cassandra Evans (Broderick), and Gwendolyn Haskins (Joe), and a host of nephews, nieces,  cousins, other relatives and friends.
