Mrs. Francine Richardson Molden of 1111 East 8th Avenue,  Cordele Georgia died Friday, October 27, 2023 at Northside Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Mrs. Francine Richardson Molden was born on June 30, 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Mr. Joe Richardson and the late Mrs. Mittie Passmore Richardson.  She was affectionately known as "Chic" to her loved ones and friends. On Friday, October 27, 2023 she was called to glory at Northside Gwinnett Hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Francine was the youngest of her siblings. Along with her parents she is now reunited with her sister, Mrs. Louise Timpson.

She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Before retiring, she was employed at Wal-Mart as a greeter.   Francine enjoyed watching old television shows and loved telling jokes. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sister and friends. Most of all she loved her sons and grandchildren.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Rufus Molden for over 40 years. To this union two sons were born.

Her life will forever be remembered by her two loving sons, Mr. Keith Talton (Millie Brown) of Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Mr. Maurice Talton, Sr. (Contina) of Loganville, Georgia; her five "bonus" children, Mr. Michael Molden of Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Richard Molden (Juanita) of Tampa, Florida, Mr. Randy Brown (Vickie) of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Ms. Lena Kelley of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Mr. Jeff Davis of Savannah, Georgia; two grandchildren, Mr. Maurice Talton, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia and Ms. Keisha Dixon of Warner Robins, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Kayla & Kayleb Dixon and Ace Talton;  her sister,  Pastor Joann Davis (Charles) of McDonough, Georgia; her brother, Mr. Willie Charles Richardson of Miami, Florida; one aunt, Ms. Edith Bryant of Orlando, Florida; a host of cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends to include her goddaughter, Ms. Linda Harris of Tampa, Florida; her godson, Mr. Rico Royal of Perry, Georgia; her devoted friends, Ms. Lucille McGill, Ms. Burnell Fenn, Ms. Sheila   Patrick, Ms. Frances Thigpen, Mrs. Rosalind Porter and Ms. Mary Trahan.
