Mrs. Fannie Mae Mainor Harvey of 301 Millside Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, died Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
On February 27, 1946, the union of Mother Mae Francis Harrell Mainor and the late Mr. Nelson Mainor, Sr. was blessed with the birth of a daughter. They named her Fannie Mae.
Born in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, she received her education from the public school system.
A believer in the word of God, she was a member of the Cross Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed fellowshipping with other believers.
On Sunday, November 6, 2022, she traded the cares of this earthly life for an eternal life with the Lord.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Roosevelt Harvey and her daughter, Ms. Belinda Harvey.
Many wonderful memories of her life are left to her loving and devoted mother, Mother Mae Francis Mainor of Warner Robins, Georgia; her loving and devoted children, Mr. Charles (Takia) Harris of Arabi, Georgia, Mr. Stacy (Tammie) Harvey of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Tobi (Cynthia) Harris of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Jimmy (LaWanda) Collins of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Patricia (Alvin) Collins and Ms. Charlene Collins both of Pennsylvania; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; her loving sisters, Ms. Marilyn Mainor and Mrs. Eddie Jean (Johnny) Brown both of Cordele, Georgia, and Ms. Sarah Ann White of Warner Robins, Georgia; her caring brothers, Reverend Nelson (Melinda) Mainor, Mr. Samuel Mainor, and Mr. Joe Mainor all of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Bennie (Brenda) Mainor and Mr. Ernest (Lorraine) Mainor both of Albany, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Ms. Mae Bell Menuel, Ms. Wona Kee Doster, Mr. Columbus Johnson, Ms. Lillian Gray, Mr. David Gray, and Mr. Nathaniel Gray all of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Greg (Kendrall) Pruitt of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Ms. Lastacia Harvey of Vienna, Georgia, Ms. Hicks, Ms. Eddie Mae Gaston, and Ms. JoAnne Glenn.
