Evangelist Stephanie Nicole Gibson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at the OU Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Newman-Mathews Auditorium in Abbeville, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Zion Hill Church Cemetery in Leslie, Georgia.

Evangelist Stephanie Nicole Gibson transitioned to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday January 17, 2025, at OU Medical Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born May 19, 1969, in Ocilla, Georgia to Willie Gibson and Odessa Gibson. Stephanie was a 1988 graduate of Wilcox County High School in Rochelle, Georgia.  After high school she attended Albany State University and later returned home to Abbeville Georgia.

In 2007 Stephanie relocated along with her youngest daughter to Lawton, Oklahoma. In 2016, She rededicated her life to Christ and became a member of Spread the Word Ministries Worship Center, Lawton, Oklahoma. She was committed to a life filled with faith, love, and unshakable devotion to her family, friends, and community. Stephanie lived as a shining example of grace and servitude. While at Spread she served as a Minister, Prayer Warrior, Hospitality Leader, Worship Singer, and Board of Trustee member. Stephanie was excited to have birthed her very first catering business; M.A.M.A.S Catering, which stood for Making Amazing Memories and Soul Food that was a blessing to numerous family with special occasions.

Stephanie found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, volunteering at church, mentoring young women, cooking, event planning or simply hosting family gatherings. She celebrated the small things and reminded those around her to see God's beauty in every moment. She loved and cherished her family and making others laugh!!!

Throughout her life, Stephanie sought opportunities to uplift and inspire. Whether it was a warm embrace, a word of encouragement, or her quiet prayers whispered in the early hours, she impacted countless lives. Her unwavering hope and strength, even in life's trials, were a testament to her deep trust in the Lord.

She is survived by her mother: Odessa Gibson; her father: Willie Gibson; her children: Crisabeon Young, Treasure (Darius) Monroe, and Ebony (Kirk) Rahymes; her grandchildren: Crisabeon Young, Jr., Dariyah Monroe, Dashawn Monroe, Madison Monroe, and  Denise Hutcheson; her brothers: Willie Denard Gibson (Sabrina), Calvin Gibson (Lisa), Tynilo Gibson, Gabriel Gibson, Paul Gibson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her memory will forever be a light in their lives and in the hearts of all who knew her.

As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing she now rests in the arms of her Savior, greeted with the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in the knowledge that Stephanie's life, filled with love, faith, and encouragement, leaves an everlasting imprint on all she touched.
