Mr. Eric Ingram McGill of 208 Lakeview Drive, SE, Warwick, Georgia died Thursday, May 5, 2022.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

With a great love and joy, the union of the late Mr. Jerry McGill and Mrs. Loretha McGill, welcomed the birth of a son on May 26, 1983.  Born in Thomasville, Georgia, he was lovingly named Eric Ingram McGill.

Eric was born with a love for people and that love grew up in him as he received his education from the Worth County School System.  He was a proud graduate of the Worth County  High School.

A lover of music, Eric was passionate about being a DJ and he also loved Karokee and singing.  He enjoyed eating a variety of food, reading comic books, playing with animals and taking his chance with playing the lottery.  Eric was football enthusiast and he "loved him some Jordans."

A natural born jokester, he always had a joke to tell.  He lived with the motto, "Fun and Laughter!"

On Thursday, May 5, 2022 with the quickness of the wind, our beloved left this world.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Julian McGill.  We will forever cherish his memory.

He leaves many heartfelt memories to his loving and caring daughter, Miss E'Layjia McGill of Cordele, Georgia; his loving sisters, Mrs. Porche Palmer and Mrs. Constance (Vince) Edwards both of Cordele, Georgia; his beloved brother, Mr. Marlo McGill of Albany, Georgia; his sister-in-law, Mrs. Phillaminia McGill of Albany, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Deacon Sammie (Cheenese) McGill, Ms. Lucille McGill, Mr. Danny McGill, and Mrs. Barbara (Johnny) Dennis all of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Azzie McGill, Ms. Della McGill, and Mrs. Rossie (Alberdine) Williams all of Albany, Georgia, Mr. Oscar (Patricia) McGill of Ashburn, Georgia, Mr. Dennis (Rosemary) McGill of Sylvester, Georgia, Mr. John Hamilton, Mr. Calvin Pridgeon, Mr. Carlos Pridgeon, Mr. Tony Houser, Mr. Andrew (Kurtina) Houser, Mr. Andre Houser, Mr. Stephen Houser, and Ms. Jeannette Houser all of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Annette Florence of Florida, Ms. Ophiela Blackwell of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mr. Torry Houser and Mr. Gregory Houser both of Arabi, Georgia, Ms. Oretha Houser, Ms. Patricia Houser, Mr. Alex Houser, and Mr. Vincent Houser all of Miami, Florida, and Ms. Alexis Houser of Atlanta, Georgia; his special nieces, Ms. Wyicobia McGill, Ms. Lavincia Edwards, and Ms. Gabrielle McGill all of Cordele, Georgia; a special cousin, Mr. Norman Hooks of Warwick, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include The Home Team and his friends at Michelle's Bar.
