Mrs. Eloise Corbin Henderson of 710 Meadow Drive, Cordele, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Mrs. Eloise Corbin Henderson was born March 29, 1950, in Cordele, Georgia Mr. Bobby Lee Corbin, and Mrs. Rosa Lee Styles Corbin.

She received her education in the Crisp County School system and later graduated from South Georgia Technical College.

She was united in Holy Matrimony on December 23, 1966 to Norman Henderson, Sr. To their union four children were born.

Eloise was a devout Jehovah's Witness serving faithfully until her death. She worked several jobs to support her family whom she loved very much. Her employment included, Cordele Uniform, and Waffle House, and she retired from the Crisp County School System Transportation Department. After retirement, she opened her own second-hand thrift store.

Eloise departed this life at her home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Norman Henderson Sr.; her children, Mr. Norman Henderson, Jr. and Mrs. Myra Maleisa Henderson English; her parents, Mr. Bobby Lee Corbin and Mrs. Rosa Lee Styles Corbin; her siblings, Mrs. Ollie Mae West, Mr. Oscar Corbin, Sr., Mr. Homer Corbin, and Ms. Lillie Pearl Corbin;  her  in-laws, Mr. Willie C. Henderson, Jr. (late Easter Henderson), Mr. Joe C. Henderson (late Ella Mae Henderson), Mr. Robert Curtis Henderson, Sr., Mrs. Elouise Thomas, Mr. Bennie Lee Henderson, Mrs. Louise Henderson Brinson, and Ms. Sally Henderson.

She leaves cherished memories to her children, Ms. Chandra Kandis Henderson of Cordele, Georgia and Mrs. Norma (Alex) Johnson of Warner Robins,  Georgia; her grandchildren, Kaneesha (Bernard), Cortavius (Lisa), Chabreeka, Jarquez, Shemar, Jamal, Kevy'Anna, Kevion, Shakerria, Danielle, Alexis, Rileigh, Justin, Torrey, Jasmine, and Amber; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Cadence, Myricle, Destiny, Kyree, and Javion; her siblings, Mrs. Lessie Brown Crawford (Jack) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Doris Payne of Florida, Mr. Robert Corbin (Margaret ) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Eddie James Corbin (Belinda) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Ethel Taylor (Harvey) of Macon, Georgia,  Ms. Annie Corbin of Macon, Georgia, and Mr. Bobby J. Corbin of Macon, Georgia; her in-laws, Mrs. Leila (Cecil) Rogers of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Larry (Donna) Henderson of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Ruth Henderson of Cordele, Georgia.

Eloise never met a stranger, she also leaves cherished memories to her close devoted friends, Brother Artist & Mrs. Helen Oliver of Cordele, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
