Mrs. Ella Marie Montford Cuffie of 204 West 25th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the J. W. Williams Funeral Home Porte Cochere in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
Lula Parham Bullard was born April 7, 1928 to the late Oscar Parham Sr. and Ava Myrick Parham in Eatonton, Georgia.
She received her education within the Putnam County Schools.
In 1946 she married the love of her life, Raymond Bullard who preceded her in death. To their union, they were blessed with four biological and two adopted children.
For many years she was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she served as the Mother of the Church until her health declined.
On Wednesday August 25, 2021 she departed to her heavenly home with her family by her side.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her legacy will continuously live through her loved ones.
Mother Lula was a domestic worker for many years. She worked for the Culpeppers for over 50 years in Cordele, Georgia. In addition, she worked faithfully for the Stephens as well.
She was a wonderful cook and an extraordinary baker. She had a passion to serve and love everyone. She would witness the goodness of the Lord to anyone she came in contact with. She was an incredible mother and an amazing aunt.
She is also preceded in death by her children: James Bullard, Arthur Bullard (Ruby) and Nona Mae Bullard; her beloved sisters: Julia Mae Little and Sophia Peters; her six brothers: Oscar, Arthur, Willie, James, Frederick and Robert Parham.
Cherished memories of her life will be remembered faithfully by her loving and devoted children: her son, Raymond Bullard, Jr. (Anna) of Cobb Georgia; her daughter, Linda Gail Jones of Cobb, Georgia; her sincerely devoted grandson, Charles Jones, Sr. and his children, Charles Jones, Jr., Charleston, and Charlesia all of Cobb, Georgia; her granddaughter, Linda Diane Jones and her children, Rashun and Tressa all of Americus Georgia.
She will be sorely missed by all of her family who loved her including, her adopted daughter, Virginia Bullard of Eatonton Georgia; her loving brother, Charles Parham, Sr. (Martha) of Eatonton, Georgia; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bullard of Vienna, Georgia; her sister-in-law, Dallas Parham of Eatonton, Georgia; her blended children, Mecca Bacon (Julius), Tracy Pitts and Joyce Harden (Derrick); her 26 grandchildren; her 68 great-grandchildren; her 58 great-great-grandchildren; her great-great-great grandchild; her loyal friends, George and Gladys Wright of Cobb Georgia.
Mother Lula was truly loved by so many people. Cherished memories will also be in the hearts of her beautiful nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
