Ms. Donna Lynn Collier Jones of 301 West Poplar Street, Vienna, Georgia died Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
The graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.
Ms. Donna Lynn Collier Jones was born August 8, 1964 in Dooly County, Georgia. Donna was the daughter of Mr. Henry Collier, Sr. and Mrs. Lillie Mae Collier. They, along with her siblings, Mr. Henry Collier, Jr., Mr. Charles Collier, Sr. , Mrs. Mary Ann Lee, Mrs. Mildred Molden and her twin, Mr. Donald Collier, Sr., each precede her in death.
Donna received her education from the Dooly County Public Schools. At an early age she attended the St. Mark Baptist Church until she relocated to Columbus, Georgia.
Donna was blessed with a loving heart and she devoted a lot of time to various local charities.
On Tuesday, January 30, 2024 she peacefully transitioned from this life to a life from of pain and suffering.
Many wonderful memories of her life will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted family: her children, Mr. Armad Rashad Bennett (Mahognay) and Au'gela Lynn Jones-Spencer (Luther) of Columbus, Georgia; her grandchildren, Diairyqua Dumas, Faith Demas, Xylina Dumas, Xyon Hernandez, Destini Bennett, Mahyiah Marshall, Demarion Marshall, DeKari Lockhart, Maleah Bennett, and Mikayla Bennett of Columbus, Georgia; her sister, Mrs. Vivian Dianne Johnson (John) of Unadilla, Georgia; her brothers, Mr. James Collier, Sr. (Retha) and Mr. Larry Collier (Mary) of Vienna, Georgia; her step sisters, Mrs. Queen Evans of Birmingham, Alabama, Ms. Barbara Ann Clark and Ms. Martha Mobley of Cordele, Georgia; her special nieces and nephew, Ms. Sharonica Murray and Ms. Gre'Shay Glenn of Warner Robins, Georgia and Ms. Jessica Janay Black of Perry, Georgia; her nephews James Collier, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, to include, Ms. Karen McKenzie and Ms. Beverly McKenzie-Vance of Cordele, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Mr. Jimmy Lee Perry, Ms. Mary Lundy, and Mrs. Sekietha Bryant-King of Vienna, Georgia, Ms. Kim Anderson of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mrs. Jeannie Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. April Johnson, Ms. Ernestine Carothers, Ms. Gloria Bonaporte, and Miss Bernadette of Columbus, Georgia.
