Mr. Donald Lynell Collier, Sr. of 400 South 7th Street, Vienna, Georgia died Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia.

The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Our beloved Donald Lynell Collier, Sr. was born August 8, 1964 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.  He was born to Henry Collier and Lillie Mae Dawson Collier.

Educated in the public school system, he completed his   education while attending Turner Job Corp in Albany, Georgia.  He was a member of the Body of Christ Ministry under the leadership of Bishop Joe L. Ridley.  He was a faithful member until his death.

An avid Atlanta Falcon's fan, he enjoyed being around his family and friends.

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, he left this earthly life while a resident at the Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Ann Lee Collier, Mildred Moden, Charles Collier and Henry Collier, Jr.

He leaves many wonderful memories to his loving wife, Vickie Nicey Collier of Vienna, Georgia; his loving children, Tomekia Smith and her wife, Kendra Ogburn Smith of Vienna, Georgia and Donald Collier, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; his loving sisters, Vivian D. Black of Vienna, Georgia and Donna Lynn Jones of Unadilla, Georgia; his caring brothers, Larry Collier and his wife, Mary Lundy Collier and James Collier, Sr. and his wife, Retha Collier all of Vienna, Georgia; his special nieces, Sharonica Murray of Warner Robins, Georgia and Janay Black of Vienna, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
