Obituary

Mr. Charlie Lee Shine, Jr. of 5050 US Hwy 41 North, Ashburn, Georgia died Friday, September 15, 2023 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Friendship Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia.  The burial will follow at Westview Memorial Garden in Ashburn, Georgia.

Deacon Charlie Lee Shine, Jr. was born December 20, 1950 to the late Mr. Charlie Lee Shine, Sr. and Mrs. Parrie Lee Mathis Shine.

He attended the public schools of Turner County.  At an early age he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.

On Friday, September 15, 2023, the Lord called him home to live.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Mr. Dan Shine, Mr. Ronnie Shine and Mr. George Shine; his sister, Ms. Betty Jean Shine.

Charlie's memories will forever be remembered by his son, Mr. Ranardo Shine of Ashburn, Georgia; two grandchildren, Mr. Ty Corrion Scott of Ashburn, Georgia and Miss Trinity Williams of Albany, Georgia; two sisters, Ms. Helen Shine of Ashburn, Georgia and Mrs. Vickie Johnson (Charles) of Ashburn, Georgia; three nieces, Mrs. Demetria Holmes (Bryan), Ms. Tessa Felder and Mrs. Lisa Jackson (Jeff); three nephews, Mr. Demetrius Felder, Mr. Antonio Felder and Mr. Demarcus Simmons; four great nieces, Miss Bryanna Holmes, Miss Zylexus Howard, Miss Synala Wilson and Miss   Makali Hall; seven great nephews, Mr. Mikevion Hall, Mr. Dymontavious Felder, Mr. Bryan Holmes, Jr. Mr. Ario Wilson, Mr. Brett Johnson, Mr. Kamori Felder, and Jakori Felder; his great, great niece, Zyion Taylor; his great, great nephew, Kacee Hall;  a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
