Life began for Charlie B. Doster on April 4, 1940. He was born to Mr. Willie B. Doster and Mrs. Elnora Butts Doster in Crisp County, Georgia.
The value of an education was instilled in him as a student at Arabi City School.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with the William Grove Baptist Church. As he served, he was ordained as a Deacon of the church.
As time passed, he learned to value and appreciate the simple things in life. He enjoyed a good conversation about life and he was interested in how life was treating those he loved and respected. He enjoyed fishing and sharing with his fishing buddies at Lake Blackshear. He also enjoyed gardening.
Reflecting on life, the ups and downs gave him strength to endure from one day to another. He never took for granted that the Lord had blessed him.
