Mr. David Lee Mason, Jr. of 170 Williams Lake Road, Cordele, Georgia, died Monday, July 28, 2025.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

David Lee Mason, Jr. was born on  October 16, 1992, in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia. He was the cherished son of David Lee Mason, Sr., and Mary Williams. David grew up in a loving household and graduated from high school, marking the beginning of a journey filled with faith, friendship, and family.

At a young age, David accepted Christ as his Savior and became a devoted member of Evangelical Faith Vision Ministries, Inc. His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him through all his endeavors. He was also an active participant at the Middle Flint Health & Wellness     Center, where he found joy and camaraderie.

David had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of activities. He delighted in dancing, walking, and wrestling. He was an enthusiastic gamer and found joy in playing video games. Cooking was another passion of his; he loved grilling. David cherished the time spent with his friends at the day center, where he was known for his warm smile and generous spirit.

David Lee Mason, Jr. passed away on July 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Carrie P. Williams.

Though David's time with us was brief, his impact was profound. He will be remembered for his kindness, faith, and the joy he brought to everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

His memory will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted mother, Mary Williams (Johnnie Johnson) of Cordele, Georgia, and his loving and devoted father, David Lee Mason, Sr. (Helen) of Vienna, Georgia; his grandmother, Sallie B. Mason of Cordele, Georgia; his aunts and uncles, Michelle Smith of Cordele, Georgia, Jennifer Hill (Kenny) of Savannah, Georgia, David Williams (Tiara) of Tampa, Florida, Felton Butts of North Carolina, Veronica Mason of Valdosta, Georgia, Reginald Mason (Patricia) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Freddie Mason (Larisha) of Melbourne, Florida; his great uncles, Jeff Mason (Mattie), Johnnie B. Mason (Barbara), Willie Frank Mason (Dorothy), and Johnnie B. Mason, all of Cordele, Georgia; his devoted cousins, Ricky Smith, Jr., Joziah Smith, and Tavionna Mason, a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends, including Laneika "Pumpkin" Parker of Cordele, Georgia.
