Mrs. Connie Francis Deans Dixon of 651 Stephens Street, Rochelle, Georgia died Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Atrium Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

The graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the New Travelers Home Church Cemetery in Abbeville, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

The union of Mr. Willie Davis Deans and Mrs. Juanita Lawson Deans was wonderfully blessed on July 10, 1962 when they welcomed a beautiful daughter.  Born in Rochelle, Wilcox County, Georgia, she was named Connie Francis.

Connie was educated in the public schools of Wilcox County.  She graduated in 1980 from the Wilcox County High School.

Realizing and desiring a closer walk with the Lord, she united with the New Travelers Home Baptist Church.  She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing in choir.

Connie will be remembered as an individual who loved to sit, smile, laugh and give her HONEST opinion.  A loyal employee of Tyson Foods for over 22 years, she was a hard worker who possessed an outgoing personality and  who always showed kindness towards others.

She loved those special moments spent with her husband, her children, and her grandchildren.  Her support of her grandchildren was never ending.  She also loved family gatherings, shopping, and watching Soap Operas.

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, our loving Heavenly Father plucked our beloved from his earthly garden.  She was welcomed home by her father and other family members who have gone on before her.
