Ms. Clydia Mae Black of 510 Clover Street, Vienna, Georgia died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Atrium Health in Macon, Georgia.
The funeral service will be announced at a later date pending the completion of the arrangements.
On July 17, 1954, a sweet and beautiful soul was welcomed into the world named Clydia Mae Black. Born in Vienna, Georgia, Clydia was the cherished daughter of Mr. Joe Black and Mrs. Lucy Mae Black.
At an early age Clydia accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. As a believer she grew in faith and depended on God. Clydia became a member of Saint Mark Baptist Church.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Clydia heard God's call and peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to life everlasting. Clydia is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Joe Black and her loving sister, Ms. Barbara Black.
Clydia was a beautiful soul who loved life and lived it with vibrance. Clydia loved working and thoroughly enjoyed cooking, watching television and shopping. Clydia touched countless lives with her genuineness, care, and compassion.
Clydia's life and legacy will forever be cherished by her amazing and loving son, Charlie Charles Dawson of Vienna, Georgia.
She leaves cherished memories to her mother, Mrs. Lucy Mae Black of Vienna, Georgia, brother, Bobby Joe Black of Vienna, Georgia, brother, Jack (Shatrina) Black of Jacksonville, Florida, sister, Joyce Ann Black of Vienna, Georgia, brother, Dennis Bernard Black of Vienna, Georgia, brother, Joseph Black of Vienna, Georgia, brother, Cecil Black of Vienna, Georgia.
Clydia leaves many treasured memories to her nieces, Sheena (Daniel) Davis of Sandersville, Georgia, Treena Black of Milledgeville, Georgia, Jassica Feshon Black of Perry, Georgia and Kayden Black of Jacksonville, Florida, Celia Black and Sharonda Dawson of Vienna, Georgia. Also, her nephews, Donald Lamar Black of Warner Robins, Georgia, Bobby Black, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia, Javorius Black of Drayton, Georgia, Bradley Malik Deshoid Black of Unadilla, Georgia and Nathan Black of Jacksonville, Florida, grand nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
