Mr. Christopher Lopez King, Jr. better known as "Boute" of 1709 Oconee Circle, Cordele, Georgia died Sunday, March 24, 2024.

The graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Christopher Lopez King, Jr. was born January 20, 1997 in Cordele, Georgia.  He was better known to his family and friends as "Boute".

He was a believer in Jesus Christ.  He received his education from the public schools of Crisp County.  After earning his GED he entered the workforce.

With a headful of sandy hair, Christopher was a special "lil sum" with all the features of his paternal grandmother and temperament of his mother. "Boute" was a joyful, funny person, and always able to pull a smile and laugh from other people. He was full of life and very outspoken with his "life of the party"  personality. At a young age, he was fearless and passionate, never afraid to speak his opinion or help out earning his keep. He was your go-to person, selfless and giving even if it meant his last would help you. A young man with a gifted soul and heart of gold.

On Sunday, March 25, 2024 our beloved departed this world. We will forever remember the many memories we shared in this life. He is preceded in death by his son, Jayden Johnson and his grandparents, Deneen Harris and Oscar (Arthur) Madison.

His life will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted   family:  his parents, Mokesha Prater, Emmanuel Roundtree, Sr., Terrence Harris and Christopher King, Sr. of Cordele, Georgia; his children, Christian King (Kendilyn Granville) and Jaylen Johnson (Brittany Johnson) of Cordele, Georgia; his maternal grandmother, Arletha  Dawson of Cordele, Georgia; his sisters, Ashaney Roundtree, Kennesha Whitest, and Whitney Prater of Cordele, Georgia; his brothers, Devocusis Prater, Emmanuel Roundtree, Jr., and Walter Serrano of Cordele, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, D'Kiya & D'Kayla Prater, Devocusis   Prater, Jr. and Darmaris Roundtree; four aunts; seven uncles; a plethora of cousins, to include, Marquez Dawson and LeCreshia Smith of Cordele, Georgia; a special and unique guardian, Larry Bass of Cordele, Georgia; his brother from  another mother, Donnie Hamilton, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
