On October 19, 1960, the union of Charles Manuel Morgan, Sr. and Bernell Felton Morgan, welcomed a son. Born in Crisp County, Georgia, he was lovingly named, Charles Manuel Morgan, Jr.
He was enrolled in the public school system of Crisp County. As he grew, he continued with his studies and went on to become a 1978 graduate of the Crisp County High School.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with the New Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Charles was a Georgia fan to the core. Whether it was the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, or the Georgia Bulldogs, he was definitely a fan. He also enjoyed the outdoors - he loved cutting grass and found peace when he was fishing.
Charles greatest love was for family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, our lives were forever changed when Charles transitioned from life to life everlasting. We take comfort in knowing that he is sharing eternal life with his parents and his other family members who have gone on before.
