Ms. Cassandra Fisher of 303 South 10th Street, Cordele, Georgia, died Sunday, December 21, 2025, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your mask.

Cassandra Lewis Fisher, born on November 28, 1974, in Crisp County, Georgia, was a cherished daughter of the late John L.   Lewis and Maggie Lewis. She attended the public schools of Crisp County, where she first cultivated her love for learning and creativity.

Cassandra was a dedicated member of New Saint Stevens Church in Cordele, Georgia, where her faith in God and her love for her church community were integral parts of her life. She was a woman of many passions, as she deeply loved music, animals, people, and, above all, her faith.

Her creativity was boundless, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on many.

Cassandra's life was rich with family connections, both immediate and extended. Sadly, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Johnnie Mae Lewis, John L. Lewis Jr., and Lorenzo Lewis.

Cassandra Lewis Fisher passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Though she has left this earthly realm, her love and creativity will continue in the hearts of many. who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved children: Shanquette Lewis, Marquette Lewis, Erma Fisher, and Mustafa Reid, all of Cordele, Georgia; her grandchildren, Henry Davonta Lewis and Mason McCoy Green; her loving sisters:  Michelle Thomas (David), Lavette Thomas (Henry), Tremaine Walker (Van Anderson), Lisa Dykes (Jerry), and Mattie Mae Clark; her aunts and uncles:  Kathy Gilbert (Curtis) of Blakely, Georgia, Clareatha Whitest, Brenda Shiloh (Greg), Mary Jean Akins (Charlie), Wilma Lewis (Charles), Melba Carter, Janice Grinstead, Jeanette Lewis, Buford Stewart, Bobby Lewis, Calvin Lewis, and Tommy Lee Lewis (Donna) all of Cordele, Georgia, Barbara Holmes (Benjamin) and Ruby Lewis of Perry, Georgia and Clara Johnson of Henderson, Georgia; her great aunt, Annie Moore of Vienna, Georgia; her godmother, Vivian Breed of Cordele, Georgia; her god aunt, Mary Hicks of Cordele, Georgia; her nurses, Dementria Dawson (David Thomas, Jr.) and Ashley Stillwell; her nieces and nephews, Santana Lewis, Darius Thomas, David Thomas, Jr., Ken'Tarius Lewis, Jacquelyn Walker, Rolando Walker, Eddie Hosley, and Henry Thomas Jr.; her great nephews: Davion  Thomas and King Walker; her great nieces: Deziar and Kar' Layna Thomas; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, including Beatrice Thomas, Benjamin "Pokey" Green, Julia Green, Agnes Hudson, Marion Adderly, Mary Ann Hargrett, Calisha Linder, Bobby Fisher, and her loving dog, Chico.
