Ms. Bridgett Artena Wilson of 213 West 24th Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.

Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

Bridgett Artena Wilson was born December 1, 1974.  She was born to A. B. Lavant and Loweta Wilson in Cordele, Crisp   County, Georgia.

Bridgett received her education in the public schools of Crisp County.  As a child she accepted Christ and united with the Gethsemane Baptist Church.

Bridgett was a free spirit.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.  There was never a dull moment when she was around.

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, the final chapter of Bridgett's earthly life was penned.  We will forever cherish the many memories shared with her.  Her brother, Koskins Lavant and her grandparents, Woodrow & Margie Wilson and Ned & Carrie Lee Lavant, each precede her in death.

Memories of her life will forever be cherished by her loving  family, her parents, Loweta W. Harris and AB (Valorie)  Lavant of Cordele, Georgia; her children, Iesha Wilson, Mariah Wilson, Koesha Hoskins, Takiya Wilson, and Zander Wilson of Cordele, Georgia; her grandchildren, Tommariun Floyd, Ethan Wilson, Deziar Thomas, Karlayna Thomas, and Adonis Mosley, Jr.; her sisters. Latoya Spivey, Brittany (Edgar Lee) Wilson, and Nirobia Lavant Cordele, Georgia; her brothers, Chester (Khadeejah Clark) King, Tremell (Dominque) Wilson, Davieon Lavant, Raffeal  Wilson, Corey Lavant, and Pete Smith of Cordele, Georgia; her aunts and uncles, Ruth Pinkett of Denver, Colorado, Eddie Mae Lavant, Waverly Lavant, Patricia    Lavant, J.R. (Costella) Lavant, Calvin Lavant, Willie Lee Lavant, Michael Lavant, Eddie Lavant, Johnnie Mae (William) Smith, Barbara Wilson, Mary Kinchens, Linda Wilson, Roscoe (Gladys) Wilson, Leon (Nancy) Wilson, Johnny (Sheila) Wilson, and Woodrow Wilson, Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Chase King, Lyberty King, Aryona Wilson, Tremiya Wilson, Tremeria Wilson, Treleigha Wilson, Aria Wilson, A'praysha Grant, Mircle Spivey, Deshawn Spivey, Davianna Lavant, Davieon Lavant, Jr., Tray Spivey, and Scooter Spivey all of Cordele, Georgia; a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
