Mr. Boisy Dixon of 140 Sook Road, Rochelle, Georgia died Monday, July 18, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, Georgia.

The graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Evergreen Church Cemetery in Rochelle, Georgia.  Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

Mr. Boisy Dixon was born June 28, 1942 in Crisp County, Georgia.  He was born to the late Mr. Albert Dixon and the late Mrs. Julia Mae Dennard Dixon.

Better known to many as "Shine," he had been employed by Sercer Logging Company for over 30 years.  He loved cars.  He also loved watching all Westerns on television.

On Monday, July 18, 2022, he peacefully slipped away while a patient at the Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, Georgia.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary B. Miller Dixon.

Left to mourn his passing he leaves his loving and  devoted children, Mr. Robert Dixon, Mr. Johnnie Dixon, Sr. (Denita), and Ms. Arlean Dixon all of  Rochelle, Georgia; his goddaughter, Mrs. Dianne Johnson (Willie) of Eastman, Georgia; his grandchildren, Nakita Williams (Lennie), Lakeri Clark (Carome), Antawii Deans, Jacquarius Dixon, Zamarion Dixon, Iayate Dixon, Deauntay Legrier, Davon Dixon, Johnnie Dixon, Jr., Jophuman Taylor, Tanequa Dwight,  Johntavis Dixon, Collin, Emmanuel Newsome, Alayasia Dixon, Anesha (Andy) Scott, Christopher Walker, Martesha Brown, Alexis, Dasia, and Johnnie Dwight; 36 great grandchildren;  his loving sisters, Mrs. Marzella Mathis of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Annette Dixon, Ms. Jeanetta Benjamin, Ms. Mary Hargrove, and Ms. Martha Denmark all of Rochelle, Georgia; his caring brothers, Mr. Willie Dixon of Eastman, Georgia, Mr. John David Dixon of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mr. Eugene Dixon of Rochelle, Georgia; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he dearly loved.
