Mr. Antonio McQuin Tolbert of 616West 21st Avenue, Cordele, Georgia died Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the A. S. Clark Auditorium on the campus of the M. D. Whitest Medical Institute Campus in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia. Everyone in attendance is asked to please wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
Antonio McQuin Tolbert was born December 13, 1979 in Sylvester, Worth County, Georgia. He was born to Ms. Phyllis Tolbert and the late Mr. William James.
Antonio was educated in the public schools of Crisp County. He was a proud 1999 graduate of the Crisp County High School.
He believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. He grew up and learned about the Lord at the Bethel C. M. E. Church in Cordele, Georgia.
Antonio will always be remembered as a humble man who was always willing to lend a hand. Whether it was helping to clean or cutting lawns, he was there to help those who needed him.
On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, our beloved Antonio McQuin Tolbert traded the cares of this life for a life of eternal rest.
Cherishing his life, he leaves his loving and devoted mother, Ms. Phyllis Tolbert (Bennie Hamilton) of Cordele, Georgia; his loving sisters, Ms. Yolanda Tolbert (Keith) of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Kenyatta Tolbert (Eddie) of Perry, Georgia, and Ms. Tiffany Tolbert (Steven) of Cordele, Georgia; his beloved brothers, Mr. Tommy Jackson of Cordele, Georgia and Mr. Deion James of Albany, Georgia; his step brother, Mr. Shawn Harris of Albany, Georgia; his loving grandmother, Mrs. Jean Tolbert of Cordele, Georgia; his stepmother, Mrs. Ramona James; his beloved aunts and uncles, Ms. Priscilla Jackson (Ira) of Sylvester, Georgia, Mr. Willie Tolbert of Cordele, Georgia, Reverend Larry James (Laura) of Sylvester, Georgia, Ms. Janice James of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mr. Calvin James of Jacksonville, Florida; his god sister, Mrs. Ciara Chaniel-Evans (Antonio) of Cordele, Georgia; 11 nieces; four nephews; many cousins, to include, Mr. McKenzie Tolbert and Ms. Tomeka Tolbert both of Cordele, Georgia, and Ms. Jojuana Tolbert of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include Mr. Michael Jones and Mr. Albert Shorter both of Cordele, Georgia, Mr. Antoine Ramsey of Valdosta, Georgia, Mr. Joe Williams, Jr. of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Mr. Eddie Porter of Cordele, Georgia.
