Mrs. Annie Berta Hall Terrell of 1116 McClendon Court, Cordele, Georgia died Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
Our beloved, Annie Berta Hall Terrell was born November 18, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. She was born to the late Mr. Amos Hall, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lonnie Mae Deshazier Hall.
She received her education in the Crisp County Public School system. She was a 1969 graduate of the A. S. Clark High School.
Annie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted member of the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an usher.
Annie will be remembered as a genuinely kind and loving person who was very soft spoken. She enjoyed special moments with her family and she loved to shop.
On Monday, November 13, 2023, she peacefully transitioned from this life. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Luther Charles "L. C." Terrell. They shared over 40 years together until his passing. Her siblings, Mrs. Geraldine Hall-Smith, Mr. James Barker and Mr. Charles Peacock and her grandparents, Mr. Lonnie Simpson and Ms. Rosa B. Deshazier, also preceded her in death.
Her life and memory will be forever cherished by her loving and devoted sisters, Mrs. Sheila Patrick (Deacon J. C. Patrick, Jr.) of Cordele, Georgia, Mrs. Marilyn Hall-Gobay of Albany, Georgia, Mrs. Linda Hall-Walker of Cordele, Georgia, Ms. Laverne Hall of Alpharetta, Georgia and Mrs. Mary Hall-Gray (Mr. Jeffery Rogers) of Cordele, Georgia; her stepdaughter, Mrs. Shay Pinkard (Kenneth); a special friend, Mr. John Dawson of Cordele, Georgia; two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law with a loving sister-in-law, Mrs. Jan Peacock of Cordele, Georgia; a loving best friend, Mrs. Liz Hamilton of Cordele, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends, to include, Ms. Veronica Langston of Cordele, Georgia.
