Mrs. Alene Adams Fields of 806 Lincoln Street, Vienna, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Free Providence Baptist Church in Vienna, Georgia. The burial will follow at the Vienna City Cemetery in Vienna, Georgia.
Our beloved, Alene Adams Fields, was born April 6, 1954 in Dooly County, Georgia. She was born to Mildred Adams Jackson, precedes her in death.
As a child, Alene was educated in the public schools of Dooly County where she went on to become a 1973 graduate of Vienna High School. She completed further studies at South Georgia Technical School in 1998.
Introduced to the Lord at an early age, she exercised her faith in the Lord at the Free Providence Baptist Church.
Alene was the definition of love. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, Roger as they built lasting memories with their children and grandchildren. Playing games on the computer and watching television, especially, Judge Judy, were among the many things that gave her joy. She also enjoyed her trips to Panama City, Florida.
Alene was set free from the cares of this life on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 leaving cherished and loving memories to her loving and devoted husband, Roger Fields of Vienna, Georgia; her loving and devoted children, Kelsey Fields and Latasha Fields Sanders of Perry, Georgia, Roger Jamal Fields (Jasmine) and Alexis Fields of Vienna, Georgia; her loving grandchildren, Randejah Thomas, Jurnee Fields, Abreanna Simpson, Cedrica Butler, Jocques Butler, and Jeronica Collins; three great-grandchildren; her loving sisters, Lorene Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, Shirley Jackson and Geraldine Jones (Robert) of Vienna, Georgia; her caring brothers, Glenn Presley of Vienna, Georgia, Thomas Umstead of Chicago, Illinois and Jimmy Jackson (Patsy) of Cordele, Georgia; eight sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
Along with her beloved mother, Alene is preceded in death by her grandparents Bang & Stella Adams and her aunts and uncles, Susie Mae Brown, Van Adams, Ceola Joseph, Artis Adams, Otis Adams, Inez Adams, and Obie Adams.
